From their first days in our infant nursery all the way to their last few weeks in our Pre-K department, children will discover the joy of Christ. Our teachers and caregivers love young children and are committed to caring for each of them.
Because young children grow so quickly, both physically and mentally, we design each room to specifically meet the challenges and hallmarks of the different stages in early childhood development. These rooms are open for all morning services.
Our goal in this room is simply to develop a loving and trusting relationship with the little ones and their parents. Just like you, we want our infants to know we will hear their cries and we will respond. We believe that if they feel safe in our arms, they are one step closer to being safe in the arms of God.
Our goal in this room is much as it is in the Infant Room, to develop loving relationships with children and their parents. However, we also know Walkers are beginning to enjoy music and stories. We spend a little time every Sunday singing, reading and laughing!
Two-year-olds are discovering their world at a rapid pace, so we work hard to introduce them to God’s world. We take walks, sing, color, and tell the stories of God in hopes that they will fall in love with the God who made their ever-expanding universe!
With a little more independence and much more spirit, our three- and four-year-olds learn about God through centers and discovery play. They, too, enjoy walks around our campus. They also participate in SonShine Church (a singing and Bible Story time) along with our Pre-K Ministry.
This room is for children about to enter Kindergarten. Their heads and their hearts are ready to put some of the basics about our Faith together. There are crafts, centers, and plenty of activity to keep them excited about coming to church and learning about Jesus. (We do ask that children in this class be potty-trained and that they enter this room the year prior to starting Kindergarten.)
Every child’s safety is our primary concern. We strive to make sure your child is taken care of both physically and emotionally.
Here are just some of the ways we do that:
